Carmel High School boys tennis has won 16 state championships, including recent titles in 2025 (25-0 season) and 2023 (27-0 season). The girls program has won three consecutive state championships. This creates a vibrant tennis culture with year-round community engagement.
With 102 tennis courts across the city at 67 different facilities, players have exceptional access to courts. Free public courts at two school locations provide 22 courts total, while premier private facilities offer climate-controlled indoor courts year-round.
The Hamilton County Community Tennis Association (founded 1990) provides affordable programs for all ages. Active USTA leagues, 119+ member Meetup groups, and regular community events create abundant opportunities to connect with players of all levels.

Indoor facilities with 24+ courts across multiple clubs ensure tennis is available regardless of Indiana weather. Outdoor clay and hard courts supplement indoor options during warmer months.
